The Wheatley Hotel, Doncaster is celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee next weekend, with four days of live music, entertainment and great food and drink on offer.

The beloved hotel which has recently gone through a six-figure refurbishment is ready to welcome the people of Doncaster through its doors once again, for the most iconic of royal celebrations.

Looking to get back to being the go-to place to watch live sport in Doncaster, the hotel also now has over half a dozen televisions including a 100-inch LCD in their sports bar area, for their customers to enjoy the biggest sporting and public occasions.

The hotel has a fantastic offering of events over the Jubilee Weekend including a party castle and afternoon tea on Thursday, an assault course and live music from Jack Walton on Friday, followed by a day of a sumptuous British BBQ on Saturday from 1pm and DJ Neil on the decks from 7pm on Saturday. The weekend will conclude with another party themed castle and assault course, followed by a special performance from signer Ella Davis at 6pm.

With the pub all set for the busiest weekend of the year so far, Co-Licensee Damion said “We’re so excited to welcome the local community back to The Wheatley Hotel, to celebrate such an iconic event. A lot of planning has been put into place, to ensure that we have plenty to keep everyone entertained across the weekend. We really are looking forward to getting the Wheatley Hotel back to the people’s pub and being within the community once again.”

The recent refurbishment of the bar, which also benefits from a 12-bedroom hotel on site, will look to be refurbished along with their outside areas in the coming months to make The Wheatley the place to be this summer.

The hotel also boasts two large function rooms, which can host up to 40 people and can be booked here.
