The Cow Shed at The Ship Inn in Ospringe has been crowned ‘Stonegate Pub Partners Pub of the Year’ at the Great British Pub Awards, recognising the Faversham venue as one of the standout pubs in the UK’s largest pub company.
Run by husband-and-wife duo Justin and Emma Lamba, along with their daughter Charlotte, The Cow Shed first earned its place among six finalists selected by Stonegate Pub Partners from thousands of leased and tenanted pubs across the country, before going on to take the overall title at the national awards ceremony on Wednesday evening.
The award recognises pubs that excel in delivering exceptional hospitality, food, service and community engagement, with The Cow Shed praised for creating a welcoming destination at the heart of the village.
Since taking over the venue, Justin, Emma, Charlotte and their team have built a strong reputation for high-quality food, outstanding customer service and a vibrant programme of events, helping transform The Cow Shed into one of the area’s most popular hospitality venues.
