Preserving its historical heritage, while embracing modern comforts, the pub now boasts a warm and inviting feel, tailored to cater to couples, friends, and families.

Karen Harrison, a seasoned operator, with seven years of experience at the helm of Fat Ox in Whitley Bay for Craft Union Pub Company, is excited to have re-opened of The Black Horse and is ready to welcome the community for a huge range of entertainment and uplifted atmosphere. Her leadership has brought a seamless transition into this exciting new chapter for the pub, to deliver a refreshing experience for guests old and new.
