Slug & Lettuce Colchester has reopened following an exciting investment, marking the start of a new era for the cocktail bar.
The popular Colchester venue has undergone a full transformation across the ground floor, creating a vibrant, glamorous space packed with colour, texture and Instagram-worthy details.
Guests can expect instant impact on arrival, with the bar’s externals now painted in a lush dark blue shade, finished with illuminated S&L signage, allowing the venue to stand out late at night.
The entrance has been reimagined with a striking new lighting scheme, featuring a mix of single-drop and multi-drop pendant fittings. Each piece is finished with frosted glass globes, casting a soft glow that enhances the vibrant, party-ready atmosphere.
The ground floor bar has been completely refurbished, with a new gold colour theme, bronze-tinted mirrors, and illuminated bottle display steps making a trip to the bar look more inviting than ever.
Seating throughout the venue has been refreshed and elevated, with fixed booths re-upholstered in bold, vibrant and luxurious fabrics in shades of pink, teal, blue and gold. The existing ‘birdcage’ booths have been upgraded with new upholstery paired with a dark green aesthetic to make enjoying 2-4-1 cocktails more comfortable than ever.
Located on 111 High Street, the venue also boasts new pristine new decorative lighting, wallpapers and refreshed paint finishes to complete the eye-catching new look.
