The Bell, Leytonstone has raised over £1150 for a local little girl, through a variety of fundraising entertainment and activities, including live music from local band ‘The Movement’, raffles and stalls in the pub’s garden.
Last week, the pub organised a day full of fun activities to raise money for little Arianna, who was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma in November 2021. Her family has been fundraising so that she can access potentially life-saving treatment options abroad. A local music group, called ‘The Movement’, contributed to the cause by playing music from 2pm until 2am on the day at the pub and entertaining guests. The pub also had various food and drink stalls in the garden, where profits were donated too. Funds were received through text-donations, a JustGiving page, and through in-person donations.
William Farrell, General Manager of The Bell, Leytonstone, said: “I am humbled to see how much our local community has helped and supported this cause, so close to many of our hearts. I hope that the money that we raised in our pub will help make a difference to Arianna’s treatment and care. I am proud of my whole team in organising the fundraiser and how our whole community came together. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us.”
The funds raised were presented to Arianna’s grandfather, Neville Chance.
