Popular Nuneaton pub, The Silk Mill, will be hosting the grand finale of Craft Union’s nationwide talent competition, Craft Union’s Talented, this Saturday to find the UK’s top talent.

The competition, which began in July with five regional competitions in Torquay, London, Blackpool, Tamworth and Wakefield concludes this Saturday at Nuneaton’s The Silk Mill pub on Newdegate Street.

With hundreds of entries from across the UK, the competition’s finale will take place with seven of the remaining contestants battling it out for a prize of £2,000 this Saturday from 4pm until 7pm. The best part, it’s completely free for Nuneaton guests to come down and watch, with the final expected to bring in a large crowd of locals.

Lewis Edkins, Operator of The Silk Milk, said: “We’re so excited to host the Craft Union’s Talented Final this Saturday, with the first act beginning at 4pm so make sure to get yourself down with plenty of time ahead of the first performance.

“We’re hoping to see as many guests in attendance as possible and with so many talented acts taking the stage, it’s going to be a party to remember with one talented finalist leaving a huge £2,000 richer.”

After the final, The Silk Mill’s resident DJ will be spinning tunes late into the night to celebrate the competition’s finale, providing the after-party atmosphere for what is anticipated to be one of Nuneaton’s biggest and busiest parties of the year.
