Cullen Skink, Balmoral chicken and of course, traditional haggis, neeps and tatties are set to grace the special Burns Night menu amongst Stonegate Pub Company’s Classic Inns later this month.

All Classic Inns pubs will offer the menu to customers celebrating the birthday of the Scottish national poet, Robbie Burns.

The menu features a three course meal from £15.99 a head and includes a choice of two starters, Cullen Skink, a traditional Scottish smoked haddock soup or oak-smoked Scottish salmon. Customers can opt for Balmoral chicken, with haggis, neeps and tatties or slow-cooked venison pie, served with seasonal vegetables as a main course. Classic Scottish dessert, raspberry cranachan or black forest gateaux and whisky cream complete the menu.

Customers wishing to toast the haggis can do so with a Whisky Flight, a trio of Scotland’s finest whiskies served on a flight, for £5.99.

Speaking about Stonegate’s approach to Burns Night, Sam Maynard, Marketing Manager for Classic Inns Marketing said, “Burns Night is a popular event for customers of our Classic Inns estate; and so we have created a truly authentic Burns Night supper for them to enjoy. Each of our Scottish and English pubs in the estate will be marking the event with their own special night of entertainment.”
