Popular Wickersley pub, the Three Horseshoes, has reopened following an exciting six-figure investment, marking the next chapter in the pub’s history.

Following a three-week closure, the pub has reopened, bringing with it two new jobs for the local area and reaffirming its place as a much-loved fixture in the hearts of Rotherham locals. Situated in the popular ‘Tanyard’ area of town, it continues to serve as the go-to destination for a refreshing pint and a satisfying bite to eat.

As part of the refurbishment, the pub’s capacity has been increased, with new lighting and carpets enhancing the space. Rather than undergoing a full redecoration, the venue has been carefully repaired and refreshed, preserving the character that regulars know and love.

The bar has also been given a fresh new look, including a pristine new back bar display designed to entice guests to the bar for a great-value pint of their favourite beer.

Externally, the venue has been given a vibrant new look, with the former black and white colour scheme refreshed in striking blue and white tones, complemented by modernised signage that gives the pub a contemporary edge. Plus, new festoon lighting decorations cover the outdoor area, increasing the pub’s curb appeal.

With Sky Sports and TNT Sports available on HD screens, guests at the Three Horseshoes won’t miss a moment of the action, with the pub showing all the big matches. The addition of a pool table and two brand-new dartboards adds to the pub’s lively atmosphere, cementing its status as a top spot for competitive fun and classic pub games.

Located near popular walking spots, dogs are more than welcome at the pub, making the venue a favoured spot for guests popping in for a pint with their pooch, with water and treats available behind the bar.

The Three Horseshoes also boasts a fine selection of beers, ciders and wine, all at some of the most competitive price points in the area. The pub also has an extensive offering of no and low alcohol drinks, ensuring all guests are accommodated to.

Paul Corbett, General Manager at the Three Horseshoes, said: “I’m delighted to welcome everyone back to the Three Horseshoes following our brief closure. We’ve kept everything our guests know and love, while making thoughtful improvements where it was needed, and I can’t wait for everyone to see the difference.

“This refresh is all about enhancing the overall guest experience, and with how much the community loves the Three Horseshoes, we’re confident they’ll really appreciate the hard work that’s gone into the past few weeks.”

Reopening with a bang, the pub is set to host a special family fun day on Sunday, complete with a bouncy castle, entertainers, face painting, and plenty of excitement for the kids. It’s shaping up to be a weekend to remember!
