Yates’s on Victoria Road in Aldershot is planning on celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style by decking the pub in red, white and blue and hosting three days of parties in honour of the monarch’s milestone.

Starting on Friday 1 June the pub, led by general manager Phil Newman and his team will kick off the five-day weekend with a Union Jack party. Packed full of patriotic themed games and giveaways, customers who arrive in fancy dress will get free entry to the event.

Customers will be encouraged to become a royal for the night on Saturday 2 June by dressing up as their favourite British royal. Once again, there will be free entry for anyone in fancy dress with a £25 bar tab up for grabs for the ‘best dressed royal’.

Making the most of the extended bank holiday, the pub is inviting customers to continue to celebrate on Sunday 3 June at a Jubilee UV Foam party. Just like Harry customers can go wild and party until 2am – just don’t tell Granny!

“It’s such an incredible achievement we wanted to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in the way our customers do best, by partying. The pub will be transformed with bunting and royal memorabilia and we’ll certainly be raising a glass to toast her Majesty!”, said Phil Newman, general manager of Yates’s.
