Following a rigorous selection process, The Bull, on Brackley Road in Towcester, has reached the final six in the Stonegate Pub Partners Pub of the Year category of the Great British Pub Awards (GBPAs). Seeing off hundreds of other entries, the pub’s family friendly vibe with an amazing variety of first-class food offers formed a large part of the pub’s success.

 

The Great British Pub Awards recognise, reward and celebrate the fantastic work pubs do for our country and their communities, the established industry awards is widely considered to be the Oscars of the British Pub Industry.

 

Publicans, Cymon and Claire Marks, opened what was then an abandoned pub in February 2019 and have been carefully restoring and tastefully transforming it throughout the pandemic. Since reopening after lockdown, their food offer has been incredibly popular.

 

The Bull is open seven days a week and the team provide great customer service with fantastic quality food and drink including a delicious range of home-made traditional dishes to suit all tastes, alongside a selection of seasonal specials. The food is freshly prepared to order by highly experienced chefs using fresh and seasonal produce that is sourced and inspected by the head chef.
