Local favourite, The Bluebell Hotel in Middlesbrough has announced its grand re-opening, which will take place on April 26th, following an uplifting renovation, thanks to a £300,000 investment from the UK’s largest pub company, Stonegate Group. The pub will also be hosting launch events across the 26th and 27th April, with live music on both Friday and Saturday evenings.
The extensive refurbishment has breathed new life into the beloved local venue, completely modernising its interior and enhancing its overall ambiance for local guests to relax, socialise and enjoy. Visitors can expect to be warmly greeted by fresh, new carpets, a new paint colour scheme, and stylish new booths, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests old and new.
One of the most significant transformations includes the merging of two former function rooms into a single, spacious area, now boasting a state-of-the-art dance floor, upgraded lighting fixtures, and a cutting-edge sound system, so guests can enjoy their favourite tunes and dance the night away! This multi-purpose space is set to become the go-to events space, available to hire for a wide range of events and celebrations – the perfect setting for any occasion.
As well as this, the beer garden has undergone a full makeover, featuring new furniture, the installation of a second pagoda, and most notably, the addition of two anti-glare TVs. Perfectly timed for the upcoming Euros, and a summer of exciting sporting action, guests can now enjoy an enhanced outdoor experience, while catching all the action on screen with refreshing drink in hand.
Embracing its role as a community hub, The Bluebell Hotel is set to offer an exciting line-up of refreshed entertainment options throughout the week and is set to become a ‘dynamic function house’, bringing a huge range of fun-filled options to locals. Regular events will include bingo nights, pub quizzes, and live performances from both local bands and comedians as well as much more. To mark the grand opening, the pub will be hosting a launch party across the weekend, which will see the pub host a VIP night on Friday 26th April, with live, acoustic music from 7pm-11pm. And for the main event, guests can look forward to local favourite band ‘Princes of Montecarlo’, who will be taking the stage from 9pm on Saturday 27th.
