Popular South West London Pub, Fox & Hounds will be reopening its doors to guests on Thursday 30th November after undergoing a £233,000 investment by the award-winning Stonegate Group.
Located in the centre of Putney, and offering something for everyone, the Fox & Hounds has been given a new lease of life with enhancements made to its interior, exterior, food and drink menus and entertainment offerings.
Inside, the venue has been given a refresh and will pose a new look, giving it a modern and lighter feel with a redesigned bar, new furniture and the addition of more seating. The new bar will be home to the pub’s extensive and revamped drinks menu, which features beers of Peroni, Neck Oil and Guinness, real ales, wines, spirits and cocktails.
It is not just the drinks menu that has been revitalised, but the pub’s food menus have too. The elevated menu will now include delicious pub classics such as burgers and fish and chips, and the menu will feature brand new sharer plates. You can also enjoy a range of traditional breakfast dishes, and if you are looking for the perfect treat, why not book bottomless brunch.
The Fox & Hounds beer garden has also received a makeover, transforming the outdoor space for the winter months with a new roof cover, and additional seating so guests can socialise, and enjoy food and drinks with friends and family, even the kids and dogs. Not to mention the outside TV, offering a different setting for the pub’s live sports offering.
The pub’s amazing sports offering allows local and visiting sports fans to view a variety of live sports across its 17 HD TVs all with Sky Sports and TNT Sports, creating an atmosphere to match that of being at the stadium. Also, if you are looking to partake in some friendly competition and your own sporting action, the pub has a pool table for guests to enjoy.
The Fox & Hounds is also a great spot for Chelsea and Fulham football fans to grab a drink and bite to eat before games as it is just a 15-minute journey to the club’s stadiums.
If you are not a sports fan, the Fox & Hounds also has an array of brilliant weekly entertainment you can enjoy. Throughout the week there will be quiz nights, a student night on Wednesdays and the weekend will host Karaoke Junction and DJ in the Den.
Customers will recognise a familiar face behind the bar, as at the helm of the Fox & Hounds is General Manager Zac Gardner, who has been operating the pub for over a year. Zac has a wealth of hospitality experience as he has been in the industry for over 10 years, and is looking forward to the pub’s new chapter.
