From 7pm-11pm there will be some roof-raising karaoke for guests to get involved with, with a free shot for every brave singer.

Heading into the bank holiday Sunday, the Railway Hotel will be putting on a charity afternoon with bingo, Brave the Shave and other games from 3pm before a night of live music from Stephanie Jade and Jam Right! DJ Dan and karaoke will keep guests celebrating well into the evening from 9:30pm to late.

Concluding a fantastic bank holiday weekend, the pub will be hosting a Family Fun Day on Monday 27th May with face painting, kid’s karaoke and games from 2pm-6pm before a pool knockout tournament from 6pm.

Built in the late 1840s, the building was originally established as the Royal Albert Hotel. The property was acquired by William Earnshaw, a master mariner, and was given its Railway Hotel moniker in 1866 owing to its close proximity to the Knottingley railway station. The site has since been bought and sold a number of times, but its heritage and 158-year-old name have remained steadfast in the Knottingley pub scene.
