Renowned Greater London pub, The Bridge Tap, has reopened following an exciting six-figure investment, marking the next chapter in the pub’s rich history.

Since 2018, The Bridge Tap has been a vibrant pub at the heart of Southwark, popular with locals and tourists alike. Found on the corner of Borough High Street, the pub will now reside in Stonegate Group’s Pubsmiths division. Pubsmiths are a small batch of hand-picked British pubs, perfectly crafted guests who want great food, great company and a reliable place to relax and have fun.

Following a full redecoration, the venue has been complemented by new decor designed to improve the guest experience, with all additions being carefully positioned to retain the building’s historic charm while enhancing its facilities.

Stylish new furniture and lighting are set to bring a newfound sense of comfort to the Southwark pub, while the addition of two huge HD TV screens will increase the pub’s sport-watching facilities where you can enjoy the game from anywhere within the venue.

Ideal for bottomless brunches and going out for drinks, new modern booths are set to be popular with locals, allowing for a more comfortable drinking and dining experience.

The Bridge Tap now also partners with Gingerbread, a charity for single-parent families. The charity offers a safe space for single parents to connect, share experiences, and find support. As a result of this partnership, guests can now add donations to their bill when visiting the Southwark pub.

Located near popular walking spots, dogs are more than welcome at the pub, making the venue a favoured spot for guests popping in for a pint with their pooch, with water and treats available behind the bar.

The Bridge Tap boasts a fine selection of beers, ciders and wine, all at some of the most competitive price points in the area.
