Local MP visits the Drapers Arms, Stevenage

Stephen McPartland MP recently visited the Drapers Arms, situated in Old Town Stevenage, to see behind the scenes of the significant £270,000 investment in the site, completed earlier this year.

During his visit, Mr McPartland met General Manager, Andrew Cottam. He was given a tour of the venue and learnt about Stonegate’s apprenticeships, training and development schemes.

Following his visit, Stephen McPartland MP said, “It was fantastic to visit the Drapers Arms in Stevenage and meet some of the team. I was really impressed by the renovations and TV screens in each of the boothed seating areas, including the amazing Garden Huts. It was fun to test my skills and pull a pint with the landlord, I’m not sure it met the pub’s usual standards though!”
