Slug and Lettuce Didsbury has recently hosted its local MP Jeff Smith following a six-figure transformative investment from the award-winning Stonegate Group a few months ago.
General Manager Heather Wilkinson was on hand to warmly greet Jeff and show him around the beloved high street bar which boasts an incredible new look following its recent investment.
On his visit, Jeff was able to see first-hand how the investment has enhanced the popular bar, with its new additions of cosy Birdcage booth style seating areas and more accessible furnishings. Additionally, a new, extensively stocked, upstairs bar was installed creating a secondary space for customers to drink and socialise.
It was not just the interior of the venue which was revamped, the garden also received a refresh with colourful new furniture and string lights creating a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy a refreshing drink.
Jeff Smith MP said “Slug and Lettuce Didsbury is a great place for the local community, and I think its new upstairs space and additions are brilliant. The recent investment has really updated the bar and given the venue a new lease of life. I look forward to visiting again in the future.”
Operator Heather commented “It was lovely to meet with Jeff and show him the improvements made to the bar and talk about how the investment has benefitted us. We were able to give him a tour, talk him through the changes made, and find out his thoughts on the investment. We’re look forward to him visiting again.”
