Popular community pub, The Horns, Watford recently had the pleasure of welcoming local Mayor, Peter Taylor for a chat and an extensive tour of the new-look site following its recent uplifting refresh.
Licensee of the venue, Paige was on hand to show Peter around and discuss the prominent position they have in the community as a well-loved local music venue, which showcases local rising talent in the area.
Paige showed Peter how the refurb has breathed new life into the pub, with renovations including new flooring and an updated bar which now features an elevated, extensive selection of drinks including a range of beers, wine, and spirits.
Whilst touring the site, Peter and Paige were able to discuss the pubs crucial role in the community, with the site hosting a local band once a month to bring the community together.
Alongside this, the pub now provides a fun-filled entertainment offering, which includes DJs on Friday nights and live music on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Before leaving, Peter was also able to get behind the bar and try his hand at pouring a pint under the expert guidance of the knowledgeable pub team!

The Horns also provide weekly entertainment to locals by regularly hosting tribute bands on Saturday nights, including recently welcoming a Michael Jackson tribute act known as ‘Forever Jackson’.
