The Slug & Lettuce in Lincoln is the place to be when you want to go ‘out out’ as its garden has reopened following an extensive makeover so customers can enjoy food and drink alfresco whatever the weather.

Look forward to a cosy night at the High Street bar inside and now also in the great outdoors thanks to this latest garden makeover, accommodating 200 guests. The outside area is fully covered by canvas and there are new sparkling lights and warming heaters too just in time for Halloween and the festive season ahead.

Deputy manager at the Slug & Lettuce, Jared Gregory said: “It is great to see the garden here looking so warm and welcoming. There is plenty of seating and a great atmosphere with the new festive lights and heaters – the full works. Customers will love it. It’s brilliant to be able to make sure our customers are comfy inside and out. There are more and more people who enjoy being out when they are with friends and family and our garden is the perfect place to be.”

A giant canvas covers the garden area at the back of the bar so it can be used in all weathers, and there is a bright and airy atmosphere, day and night.

Jared added: “It’s brilliant to see the garden looking so good and it really makes the most of the space we have here all year round. As a city centre bar, it’s nice for people to have the choice of inside or outside, and we offer just that. Whether you want a breather from shopping, are on a night out or celebrating a special occasion, this garden will be a great addition to Lincoln’s pub scene. Come in and go outside to see for yourself!”
