Slug & Lettuce is turning this Friday (21st November) into a family affair with the launch of its ‘Glitz & Gran’ initiative in 27 of its participating venues across the UK.

From 5pm onwards, guests who bring their grandma to their participating Slug & Lettuce for a night of ‘Flamingo Bingo’ can also treat her to a complimentary main meal and Hendrick’s Gin and Tonic, with other delicious drink options also available.

Christmas can be a lonely time for some, and Slug & Lettuce want to help bring people together during the festive period for a night of bingo, flavoursome food and delicious drinks.

Whether your gran is a wine woman or a gin girl, the drink experts at Slug & Lettuce have her covered – the redeemable drink can be either a Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic, glass of wine, soft drink, or a delicious cocktail, along with any main meal dish from the food menu.

S&L’s ‘Flamingo Bingo’ event is taking place across 27 S&L venues nationwide and is a free event which features three lively rounds of bingo, all set to a DJ soundtrack that brings the party vibes and kicks off the weekend in style.

The bingo kicks off at 7pm but gran can claim her meal and drink from 5pm, with tasty treats such as juicy steaks, skin-on fries, slow-roasted tomatoes and pulled chipotle beef linguine and more all available as part of this deal.

The ‘Glitz and Gran’ event will also take place on Monday 29th December as Slug & Lettuce look to continue to bring families together over the festive period.
