The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend is fast approaching, and there is no better way to celebrate than at The Command House.
There are many celebrations happening in Chatham for the Jubilee, including the spectacular Medway River Pageant, but the team at The Command House have planned lots of exciting things throughout the weekend that the whole family can get involved with.
On Tuesday 31 May at 8pm, the pub is hosting a Right Royal Themed Quiz. Think you know a lot about the Royals? Come down and put your knowledge to the test with friends and family to kickstart the Jubilee weekend.
On Thursday 2 June from 7pm-1am, The Command House is welcoming all to a Queen Dinner & Disco. In the downstairs area of the pub, customers will be able to have a sit-down meal, choosing dishes from the delightful menu paired with a few drinks. After enjoying dinner, it is time to dance. There will be an open dance floor with disco lights and Queen music playing throughout the night. In true British style, The Command House is hosting a Platinum Jubilee Street Party on Friday 3 June from 1pm – 1am. This is chance for the community of Chatham to come together to celebrate, enjoying food and drinks with good company, and participate in some family fun entertainment. There will be crafts and face painting from 1pm-4pm, which is sure to be enjoyed by the kids. Also, there will be live music from duo act Goldeneye during the day and performing until late will be Keepsake Lily. The pub will also offer a special themed menu for the street party, which includes Afternoon Tea, Party Buffet platters, sharing combos, burgers and vegan option, so there is something everyone will enjoy. To satisfy those of you who have a sweet tooth, there will be some of the delicious desserts from the pubs main menu available.
