The Fairhaven, Lytham has opened its doors to guests once more, following a £100,000 investment. The launch marks a new chapter in The Fairhaven’s history and sees 17 jobs created in the local community.
This landmark pub is perfectly situated for the RSPB Fairhaven Lake Visitor Centre, the shore of the Ribble and Alt estuaries and the Irish Sea beyond. A haven for bird watchers, walkers and those wishing to enjoy Lancashire’s beautiful coastline. Surrounded by nature reserves, golf courses, historic buildings and gardens; it is the perfect destination for a post-walk pitstop. If you have your four-legged family members with you, this includes them, as dogs are welcome.
Inside, The Fairhaven has been refreshed with an eclectic modern décor. A blend of modern and traditional combine to create a warm, welcoming environment. With seating options at every turn, from quiet, secluded nooks to family tables – there is the perfect space for every get-together. A pool table and dart board are available to hone your skills or challenge friends to a game.
Outside, the traditional picnic-style tables have been renewed and refurbished. The ideal vantage point to watch the word go by and maybe even for a spot of bird watching. The team can not promise the weather, but they can guarantee the proximity to Fairhaven Lake and beautiful local scenery. Come for the views and stay for the food, drink and hospitality.
After its short closure, The Fairhaven reopens with a brand new, delicious menu. There is something to delight every day of the week with afternoon tea available daily, when pre-booked. Choose from Classic, with scones, a selection of sandwiches and desserts or why not indulge in the Tipsy Afternoon Tea with all the same afternoon tea favourites plus two glasses of prosecco or cocktails per person. On Sundays, The Fairhaven is serving Sunday roasts with all the trimmings and bottomless Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and gravy. With all your favourite cuts of meat and a hearty mushroom wellington, there is something for everybody at the table.
However, you need not wait until Sunday for some fabulous food. From the Lunch Date menu to dinner options that read like a greatest hits of favourite dishes – there is everything from crowd-pleasing sharing dishes to comforting pies and light bites. Food is served from 10am to 9pm daily, making The Fairhaven the perfect place to pop in any day of the week.
Of course, The Fairhaven has an extensive drinks menu too. Classic cocktails you may know and love such as Aperol spritz and espresso martini. If you enjoy gin, The Fairhaven is for you. They have numerous options from a quintessential London Dry to rhubarb and ginger infusions. There is also a Gin of the Month special to discover your new favourite tipple.
